When we started this website and video series two years ago there were two things we were predicting: That women’s use of the internet would catch up to men’s; and that DiY videos would be one of the things women would would want to watch. It feels good to be right! Honestly, though, it wasn’t hard to figure that out, since Madeline is part of that revolution, and that’s the kind of thing she’d been looking for!
Fast forward to today, and there are tons of shows and sites catering to the very programming demands we predicted. We’d like to introduce you to a couple of our new favorites:
We’re just getting started with some of these DiY sites, so go ahead and check them out! And don’t forget to drop by and say “hi.” We’ll be adding content to them as fast as we can.
What is How-To?
“How-To” and “Taste of How-To” are popular Do It Yourself (DIY) video series created by the charming Madeline Merced and How-To’s geek behind-the-scenes, Eric Wyeth. Each week, Madeline is your DIY guide as she shares her ideas for unique fashion, beauty, crafts and recipes that you can easily make yourself, or modify in your own special way!
How-To is a top-rated video podcast at iTunes, Podcast Alley, and YouTube. We enjoy a world-wide audience with fans on six continents and in dozens of countries!
Not sure what a Podcast is? Simple! It's an audio or video program on the internet which you can "subscribe" to for free by using a special software program like iTunes, Miro, or Juice, which will download new episodes to your computer whenever a new program is available. GruntMedia has an excellent tutorial about how it all works. To find out more about it, click here.
