Tips For Runway To Everyday
When I was in the For The Love of Chocolate Cocoa Couture Fashion Show in Chicago, the make-up artists created a really funky, striking look. I thought it would be fun to simplify the over-the-top runway look and make it into something wearable for any occasion!
You will need:
A tri-color eye shadow compact, with shades of iridescent blues (such as Vincent Longo Eyeshadow Trio – One, Two, Three)
Black eye liner
A Eye Shadow Brush
A Turquoise eyeliner pencil (Too Faced Foiled Liner – Turquoise Tinsel)
An eye lash curler (like the GloMinerals gloLash Curler)
Jane MaxLash 2 Mascara in pink and blue
Here’s the steps you’ll need to take:
Line the lower lid with black eyeliner (Tip: Don’t share eye make-up, it can transmit bacteria and diseases)
Using your eye shadow brush, apply the lightest shade of blue you have to your lid, from inside the nose line, to the brow line, and to the outer edge.
Now apply the lavender shade in the middle of the lid, blending a little towards the outside of the eye.
Apply the darkest shade just outside the lavender shade, to the outside to of the lid, and up to the brow bone.
Use the turquoise eyeliner to out line the lash line on both the upper and lower lid. This is what adds the “funky” punch to the eyes. Go lighter for a softer look and harder for a more dramatic one.
Curl your eyelashes using the eyelash curler.
Using the blue end of the MaxLash 2 Mascara Wand, apply blue mascara to the top and bottom sets of eyelashes.
Now using the pink end of the wand, frost the tips of your upper and bottom set of eyelashes with pink mascara. Be sure not to do the whole eyelash — just the ends!
And you’re done! Let me know what you think of this fun and wild runway look!
